Waterfront Weddings

You are free to begin your wedding day preparations starting on your check-in date. This includes hosting your rehearsal and/or rehearsal dinner at your discretion on or before your wedding as well. All decorations, tents, rental furniture, etc must be removed upon your check-out day.  There is a three-night minimum stay when you reserve for a wedding, the fee to use the grounds for a wedding is paid separately from AirBnB, inquire at polly@rousbyhall.com for fees.

Music must cease at 10pm to adhere to county sound ordinances.

The grounds can accommodate up to 100 guests for tented receptions. 

For micro-weddings, up to 25 guests, the house can be used during inclement weather (tent rental not required).

We have a list of vendors who have successfully participated in events at Rousby Hall that we are happy to provide upon booking. We are open to vendors who are not on this list, but we do ask that they come to a site visit prior to you booking them to ensure they're familiar with the property. 

No, we do not provide any rentals such as the tent, tables, chairs, portable restrooms, etc. 

We are happy to provide vendor recommendations. 

Trash may not be left on-site at Rousby Hall. Please check with your caterer or bartender to ensure they are able to facilitate trash removal. 

Rousby Hall does not provide ice. Please check with your caterer or bartender to ensure they are able to bring ice for your event.

Starlink WiFi is available throughout the event venue.

Yes, drones are permitted. 

Parking is allowed on site at Rousby Hall, and overflow parking can be accommodated at the property next door which is also owned by Rousby Hall.

Pets are not allowed inside the house. You can have one pet as part of your outdoor ceremony.

In the event of rain for your tented wedding, you would typically have your ceremony under your tent on the dance floor. Guests would be seated at their reception chairs.

Cancellation is based on AirBnB cancellation policy when you reserved.

 AirBnB owner and proprietor, Polly Wiedmaier, lives next door and will be present for all events.

Smoking is not allowed indoors nor under tents. There are designated areas on the property for smoking.

Yes, but not under tents. You must provide sparklers, lighters, and buckets with sand to extinguish them.  Biodegradable tissue paper, flower petals and bird seed is allowed. No rice or flower seeds.

Rousby Hall sleeps 8 guests in our 4 bedrooms. There is 1 king bed and 3 queen beds, 4 full baths.

The closest hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn Solomons.  

There are two VRBOs within walking distance of Rousby Hall.
